I finally had the chance to make a trail ride with some fellow Isuzu enthusiasts. One I had wanted to go to for a while. It turned into one I would never forget! Uwharrie NC, in the Uwharrie national forest.

I was eager to try out my newly outfitted Rodeo which I had worked tirelessly on for the last 3 months. I wasn't shy, I hit the tougher lines and had very little problems with my fairly stock truck, well, at least until the night run......

We were at the end of the night run when I followed a guy out of the woods. I was busy watching a stump to my left and failed to notice the guy I was following jockeying around a mud pit to my right. One which had a shear 3' drop off on one side...... Lucky me turned right into it! While turning, my right front tire went in, left front stayed out. I sat stunned while my truck flopped onto its roof in slow motion roll.  Lucky, the sticky gooey mud in the bottom of the pit cushioned my flop. I was fortunate to be in company with a crack recovery team who pulled my truck out without further damage. Search you tube for "Rodeo Rollover" and you'll see the recovery.

Here's my truck in the pit:

Here it is the next morning:

I'm proud to report that the truck is repaired and back on the road.
