1964 Scout build

I'm new to the forum and I think you guys can help me out quite a ***
I just picked up 64 scout and I am trying to find good places for parts, any help would be greatly appriciated Im itching to get started. Thanx  

Are you going to build it to stock or lift and mod?  There is a club here on the west coast that could help find things.  Most drive line parts are available at any parts or 4x4 shop (i.e. U-joints, gears, king pin and bearings). Depending on engine, a lot are also available at any auto parts store.  Body parts are a different story.

P.S.  The club is called Scouts West.  I do believe they have a web site.

Please take a minute to read this story, about the truck of my dreams. I am 17 years old and getting older i want to be able to stand back and look and be able to say " ya i own that piece of history." i am slobbering over a 1972 international harvester scout ,an amazing 4x4 if u ask me, the economy is bad so i cant find a job to save my life, i have made so many attempts iv lost count.so many places and all they did was shoot me down. i have no income what so ever and my parents cant help as much as they would love to they just cant times are tuff you no, i would love to have this harvester cuz it can pretty much go any where and i need a car to drive when i go to collage next year and its not in town plus if i got it it would help me widden my search to find a job all around town. so i ask of you wonderfule people to donate to my car fund please just one dollar or more any amount is fine i just really want to have and own a truck like this. now i would totaly buy this truck by my self if i could but saddly i cant. i have poored my hart and soule into writing this quick paragraph so it would not take much time out of your day to read it. for info on where to send the money to please call/txt 661 865 6629 thank you verry much and if you donate you will get picks of the truck as well thanx again and just please help
