What would you recommend as the go to manual for working on a Samurai?
I recently received a donation of a 1987 Samurai. I immediately changed the oil, spark plugs and spark plug wires. It starts after a couple tries and will idle just fine. However, as soon as I press on the gas peddle, it will stall out. It seems to me like it is a vacuum problem but I do not see any hoses missing or damaged. The other thought is that it is the fuel pump. Any ideas?

If it is carburated you need a new accellerator pump installed inside the carb. Prolly a complete carb over haul will do much better.
