I have 2011 tacoma double cab.
which is better a 2.5 leveling kit or a 3 in lift kit ? which would be easier on other truck parts?

Do you see yourself doing a lot of wheeling?
If not go with a leveling kit, most will allow the fitment of around a 33" tire.
A leveling kit can be installed, fairly easily, in a garage/driveway.
A true lift will be more complicated.
