In need of ideas

I own a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport... it's seen better days. In the near future, I want to give the ole rig some TLC. It has the 4.0 high output inline 6, and a 4 inch suspension lift. So, just an average casual trail rig. I want to pull the body off the frame, redo electric, hoses, etc. With the body off, I want to upgrade the suspension, motor, transmition, tires and wheels and on and on.
I want to go with a 350 to replace the 6 cylinder, so what all will need to be upgraded from the larger motor? Not too sure on what a good transmition replacement is, or transfer case. I want to go with a 37 inch tire, so I'm not sure on what suspension. With the 37's in mind, I don't know what axels to get or lockers. I don't want to run into this overhaul blindly, so any suggestions will be helpful.
