hey i have one of those too but i bought a lift for it. you cant really buy a lift kit any cheaper than for one of those old chevy's. but i have heard of people using rear springs in the front, or making some longer shackles. with the spring swap, you will have to relocate the hangers. for the rear, just find some thick wall steel rectangular steel tubing and fab up a block and get some new u bolts. if you go much higher that 4 inches you prob. are going to need a new steering arm and possibly driveshafts. as for brake lines, stock 2wd lines are something like 8 inches longer and you can make those work usually. hope i helped

Just buy one. They are cheap enough and won't get you or somebody else killed.

anything that alters the way the stock suspension attatches to the frame, putting the springs under the shackle hangers instead of over them is dangerous and stupid, it gives the same effect as front lift blocks on the front and rear, makes the frame want to roll off the suspension. body lifts are cheap, you can get them for about 120 bucks, and you can get a 4" lift kit for one of them things for around 400 or 500$ and like the web editor said, you won't kill yourself or a family of 5 in a minivan
