solid axle swap

I have a n 88 k1500 and i want to do a sas. i already have a 9.5 14b sf rear and i just want to change the front axle to a dana 44 but, im not sure what ford axle i need. i want to run leaf springs to keep it simple but, i also want to run a 6 lug bc i just got new rims.
i know  that on the chevy dana 44 or corp 10 bolt front u can swap out the hubs and brakes on the k10 to the k20 to make it a 6 lug or 8 lug but, could u take a ford axle and use chevy knuckles to get the 6 lug pattern i have now.
any help on this would be great. thanks a ton.
