Whats the biggest tire I can put on my 07 Silverado Classic Crew Cab

I'm thinking about putting either 275/70/17 or 255/75/17 tires in my 07 Silverado Classic Crew Cab and Im worried about rubbing or having to lift the truck. I'm not very knowledgeable about this and need your expertize and assistance. Whats the biggest I can go without rubbing or having to lift the truck? If rubbing occurs where do I have to remove material from the inside of the fender, I assume bottom edge? What did oyu guys use to remove material more efficiently?

i wouldnt run bigger than a 265/75/17
