Locking the front and rear diffs are great for tracking. Auto lockers (lunch box lockers) are not very expensive. You may get some "chirping" out of the rear and for the front add some ward manual hubs that way you can unlock them when driving on the street. As far as the "center diff" goes I assume you are talking about the transfer case. It is vacuum operated and is full time 4wd. What I did when I had my 74 was apply vacuum to it to lock it in then put some vacuum caps on the two vacuum nipples to keep it locked in...and clamp it for good measure. There is a cover plate that encloses the actuator. You could just open that cover and lock it so that its engaged and put the cover back on and then place the vacuum caps on. Incase you dont know which nippl to apply vacuum to....thats how i did it. This will give you full time 4wd except when you disengage the manual hubs. Now when the hubs are engaged the auto locker will always be locked so it will drive like a boat so if you plane on using it on the streets in 4wd (like snow) then get a slectable loocker for the front, that way you dont wreck ;-)
