I want to know what everyone thinks between the two.  I keep going back and forth on my decision on which one to pull the trigger on.  There are pros and cons on both, but whatever I do, I can't seem to pick one.  I like the Jeep because the top and doors are removable, but it lacks any real punch with the power and the ride quality is pretty poor in comparison to the FJ.  As for the Toyota, everything seems great, except for the fact that it's visibility is awful. It's got far more power and torque than the JK and seems to be just as capable off-road.  The downfall is, you can't take the doors and roof off!  Please let me know what everyone thinks.  Thanks!

Buy the Jeep!  I just bought the Rubicon w/Hard Top and all the goodies.  Factory electric lockers, 4.0:1 transfer case.  The ride is great (it is still a jeep after all) and it looks WAY better than the Yota.

You can buy an aftermarket soft bimini for cheap.  You get factory lockers and a 4.0:1 transfer case.  The ride is great!  And it looks WAY better than the Yota.

I'm trying to decide same thing. Visibility vs rough ride.  I have customers that LOVE their FJ and say you just have to be a little more careful driving. I will likely go with the FJ and stare and the Wranglers that go by

Buy the jeep. When we do our weekly rides every once in a while an FJ will show up. They seldom finish the run and if they do they never come back.

Buy the JK Rubicon, many more options for upgrades.
Let us know which you choose.

Jeep's are for sissies--   Toyato's are for weenies...  there really can only be one option:  Mercedes Benz Unimog for some one who wants 4x4 dominance. If you want 8x8 dominance-- go Tatra.
