Getting Gear and Ration from new Rear Diff?

Hello,
I finally acquired a couple solid axles for my truck , and am clueless on how to identify the Gear Ratio and other info I need in order to get the appropriate lockers for them.
I've found 4.56 Up and 4.10 Down, and also 30 and 35 spline sets... What do I need to look at or count in order to get the right info?
In case it helps, the axles are Dana 60's from a F350.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks, NeverFinished

Tag on the diff covers, or count the ring and pinion teeth, then divide pinion count by ring gear count.

You can look at the numbers stamped on the ring gear. You'll find tooth counts on there. It will look something like this: 48:8 , Divide the larger number (tooth count on ring gear) by smaller number (tooth count on pinion) and that will give you the gear ratio of your axle. If you can't find the stamped numbers then just count the teeth on the ring and pinion and do the math as mentioned.
