Rear axle in my 99 Mazda B3000 SE 4x4

How hard would it be for me to swap out my 7.5" rear axle for a 8.8" rear axle? I haul wood with this truck, it has the highest GVWR for its' model and year but has the smaller of the two axles.
I have the back half of an old truck for a trailer and i fill it up with wood as well as the Mazda.

'93-'09 Ranger 8.8" axle bolts right in. (also 8.8" from '94-'09 Mazda)
