i am starting with a fresh piece of **** wrangler, i have all new body parts and a good frame, along with good axles and tranny and transfer. i am interested in doing an engine swap from my 4.2l that needs rebuilt. my goal for this this is to restore and build a trail buggy but keep road worthy. i thought about coil spring converstion? i am open to all ideas with this thing and and have a little bit of money to spend on it so please give some ideas, thank you.

Sticking with the leaf springs will be less expensive and more predictable on climbs and ledges. The coil suspension will control axle movement better and ride nicer generally. It really depends on the kind of off-roading you have planned.
