gears and lockers

I have a 1978 gmc k1500, I'm trying to find a good 4.56/4.10 gear set up for my half ton axles. also wonder what type of locker is best for a weekend warrior but also road worthy. truck has 35x15.50s will sbc 350 mild cam. practically stock. There are alot of good lockers out there, I run Detroit locker's in mine front and rear.
